| The Other Side of Cancer - 3.16.10Healing disease without medicine is possible. I am not suggesting that you do that of course, that is up to you. There is more than one way to heal your body/mind/soul. I want to share mine with you. It might offer some new solutions to a pressing problem. And it may at least give you something to think about, that actually happened to someone, that you haven't thought of before. Many people who have a healing crises will choose to use both alternative medicines and allopathic medicines. The choice is yours.
Here is a brief account of how I healed cancer. In 1985 I had breast cancer, again in 1988 and ovarian cancer in 1993. The 2nd and 3rd times I choose not to go through more chemo and surgeries. The 1st & 2nd time I did go for check ups and cancer was found. The 3rd time I did not go for a check up. I found each one of my cancers so when I found the 3rd one I trusted myself that my suspicions were correct. It was easy to feel the cancer in my breasts but the ovarian cancer was a bit different. I kept getting this strange feeling in my ovaries that something was off. One side felt heavy and one side felt light. It was the heavy side that had the cancer. Feel your body, sense it, listen to it. It will tell you when something is off. We have to listen and then check it out. With the 2nd breast cancer someone gave me Joan Hulse's card who I immediately went to see. She called her work Thymo-Kinesiology and I changed it a bit and call it Body Mind Integration. Joan studied with Dr. Dennison and his group who eventually founded Brain Gym or Edu-Kinetics. Joan figured out a way to get the brains talking permanenlty. The other docs did not.
TK changed my life immediately. It is estimated that 90 to 95 % of the population is not integrated. there are different theories on why. My equilibrium changed, my diet, the way I felt about myself, how I processed information. I was much more in control of my emotions and could finally be a more logical about the things I did. My immune system started working better and with the help of Homeopathic Remedies and herbs that held a certain frequency in them the lump in my left breast shrank in about a month. The 3rd time I had cancer, ovarian cancer, I ended up at Peaceful Meadow Retreat where Hanna Kroeger, very famous healer who is now deceased, put her hands on me and 10 minutes later a huge pop echoed in my left ovary and yellow light came streaming out of my body. I lost consciousness went back into my mothers womb and with my feet up against the birth canal could hear myself screaming, "I don't want to be born. I don't want to come out". After some time I felt a push on my back and came out. I was physically reborn that day. I don't know how else to say that. The day this happened was July 4th, 1993. I was supposed to be born July 4th but wasn't born until the 14th. My mother would often recount how she was in labor for 10 days, off and on. And that I just wouldn't come out. I refused to born were her words. So this was the day I was supposed to have been born. I did not plan this. As many things in my life, I have not planned them. They just happen. The whole story is much more interesting than I can account for here. I am writing a book so people can see just what healing is really about. It isn't about genetic coding...there is so much more to us than that. I've had to heal my life from what caused my cancers. Cancer does run in my family but I again, I don't believe it is the genetic marker that creates the cancer it is the fact that we turn on the marker. It is turned on by outside influences whether they be toxic natural environments or toxic emotional environments' either way the field of Epigenetics is proving this statement. There is quiet a bit of information out there now on this topic and what many people are finding creates illness in our body. We are evolving as a species, as one would hope we do. It's what we do. As we evolve we need new medicines, new ways of healing ourselves. I believe that Energy Medicines are the wave of the future. Do some research and find out for yourself. Or at least you shouldn't be living out of your head. It will only hurt you in the end. It makes life more difficult, honest. Think about it, when we are under stress we jump into our heads to try and figure out the best possible solution. But what we are doing is thinking under stress, which never helps. It would be better for us to stop thinking, come back into our body, relax our breathing, calm down our nervous system and get firmly back into the here and now. Here is how you do that. Take one of your hands and place it underneath your belly button, flat on your lower abdomen. Now close your eyes and imagine your mind is a leaf that is going to slowly descend through your body, down into your lower belly, right behind your hand. Give yourself some time to do this. Let yourself sink down, down, down until you feel your awareness of yourself behind your hand. Keep your eyes closed and your hand on your belly for a minute or two or more if you like. While you are down there notice how you feel. Notice how quiet your mind is, how calm you are, how peaceful everything has become. Isn't that nice? You can do this anytime, anywhere and with anyone. If you are somewhere and your stress is rising and you want to calm yourself down just imagine that you are doing all these steps while standing in front of someone. Just picture the steps happening in your mind and you will accomplish the same goal, relaxation by getting back into your body and out of your mind. No one will have to know what you are doing. Practice this often so you get the hang of it while you are alone. And let me know how it goes.To you peace, Ria | |
